LESS SWITCHING. MORE DISPATCHING.
Orders live in your shop. Shipping should feel at home there too. Ashford connects your WooCommerce orders to Royal Mail Click & Drop, then brings delivery progress back to the people who need it.
A CLEAR ROUTE FROM SALE TO DELIVERY
Generate a Royal Mail shipping label from the order. Select the service, parcel format and weight without copying the customer’s details into another system.
Choose the Royal Mail Tracking API when you have access, or use the Windows desktop companion to check Royal Mail’s tracking website.
Send configured tracking emails for milestones such as in transit, ready for delivery and delivered. Link customers to a tracking page branded for your shop.
BUILT AROUND THE ORDER
Create shipping labels with Royal Mail Click & Drop. Customer and parcel information comes from WooCommerce, with service and package choices in the order workflow.
Generate Royal Mail Tracked Returns 48 labels and email the PDF to the customer. Configure your own return destination in the shop settings.
Use your shop name, logo and WooCommerce email styling. Customers see your store’s parcel tracking page rather than another retailer’s branding.
Show Royal Mail tracking badges in the orders list. Configure milestone emails and whether delivery confirmation completes an eligible order.
A WINDOWS COMPANION THAT GETS ON WITH IT
The desktop helper pairs with your shop and works through tracked parcels one at a time. Minimise it or close its window to the tray while it runs.
The PC must stay awake and online. Desktop tracking uses installed Google Chrome, which can run minimised. A real CAPTCHA or access denial pauses tracking for attention.

BEFORE YOU START
Install the plugin in your own WordPress shop. Configure your return address, shop branding and customer email preferences.
Shipping and returns require your own Click & Drop account and API key, with the relevant services enabled. Postage charges are separate.
Use your authorised Tracking API credentials, or pair the Windows desktop helper. Royal Mail’s website can change or restrict access; the helper cannot guarantee uninterrupted tracking.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING
No. Ashford Click & Drop is independently developed by Ashford.cloud. It connects to your Royal Mail services and is not endorsed by Royal Mail.
Yes, for shipping and returns. You supply your own account and API key. The available services depend on what Royal Mail enables for your account. Postage is not included in the software licence.
The Windows desktop helper provides an alternative using Royal Mail’s public tracking website. It needs an awake, connected PC with Google Chrome installed. Website changes, CAPTCHAs or access restrictions can interrupt checks.
Yes. Minimising it, or closing its window to the tray, keeps the helper running. Choosing Quit from the tray stops it. Your PC must stay awake and connected.
The parcel waits for an automatic retry in four hours while the helper continues with other parcels. That response does not change the order status or send a tracking-update email. Checks remain at least two minutes apart.
Yes. Customer-facing tracking uses your shop name and configured store logo. Emails use the normal WooCommerce email wrapper and your shop’s email branding.
The proposed £14.99 monthly licence is for one WooCommerce shop. Contact Ashford.cloud if you need more installations.
